Meet Metro baby: A baby born on the subway

A young American 23 years old Shavonnte Taylor gave birth to her fourth child on the platform of a subway station in Washington.

The young 23 year old woman, pregnant with her fourth child, took the subway on L'Enfant Plaza station in Washington, last Thursday morning to get to her gynecologist when she started having contractions.

"But I'm happy that my baby is healthy and everything went well," she said Shavonnte was scheduled for August 17 delivery. "Once down to the subway, it got worse. I fell to my knees.A passerby offered his shirt so that the baby does not touch the ground station. The child is called Amir Mason but nicknamed "metrobaby" on Twitter
