Sanusi prepared to go to court over sacking.The former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria challenges his dismissal in court. Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, has filed a complaint in federal court in Abuja to challenge President Goodluck Jonathan's decision to sack him.
He said through his lawyers that his dismissal resulted from some discrepancies in the amounts repatriated on behalf of the federation from the sale of crude oil between January 2012 and July 2013. Mr. Sanusi has asked the court to prevent President Jonathan, the Federal Attorney General and Inspector General of Police to give effect to his dismissal until the court verdict. Mr. Sanusi was sacked from his post as governor of the CBN last Thursday by President Jonathan for 'financial imprudence
