Matthysse's(32-2, 30KOs) proved too much for the WBC super lightweight tile against Ajose and after a hard fought display of courage from both fighters, Matthysse ended Ajose 30-0 undefeated streak at the 10th round of asking.After the victory Ajose told Showtime's Jim Gray, "Matthysse is a terrific fighter. He is a terrific puncher. He came to fight and he came to win. I think he is the hardest puncher I have ever fought. I have to give it to him.''
