Nigerians, do not to attempt to bring live snails into the UK without a permit

After a Nigerian man was caught at the Glasgow Airport with a luggage filled with 36 giant live snails that triggers emergency standby; the border security has ordered that no travelers be allowed to bring any live animals or in any products of animal origin which may contain pests or diseases.
The snails were passed on to an animal rescue organization and the man was warned about the restrictions.
Snails are are a popular delicacy eaten in soup and a range of other dishes.
