He already receives pension as:  Retired police commissioner, Ex party chief NPN Bendel state, Ex party chief SDP, EX Board Of Trustees chairman PDP, Retired Minister of Works, Ex in various board committees, EX-chief of behind the scene election tribunal manipulator or the so called 'Mr Fix It'

Representatives Committee on Public Accounts in November summoned the former Minister of Works and former chairman, Board of Trustees, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Tony Anenih, to defend his actions on a sum of N2.3 billion allegedly spent on failed road contract in Nasarawa State in 2006. He denied he never presided over the account.
Anenih, currently pushed out by the incumbent Edo State Governor Comrade Adams Oshiomhole in an attempt to end the era of godfatherism and impositions of people over 65 years was reinstated by former president Umaru Musa Yar'Adua as Chairman of the NPA in 2009.
