It was only a matter of time before Google added a treasure map function to Google Maps. According to Google's Map blog, Google found a treasure map from "the infamous pirate, William 'Captain' Kidd." Google has added "Treasure Mode" to find the treasures around the world.

Google has always been a leader in April Fool’s jokes, getting more advanced every year. This year, the people who brought us Google gulp and Google Romance brought us a new way to search the web: Google Nose.


YouTube shutting down
The joke's on us! This whole time, YouTube was nothing but a contest. Youtube announced that they the site is shutting down. The winner of the best videos will be announced in 10 years when the site will relaunch featuring only videos by the winner.

 The Finnish company isn’t stopping with mobile phones to jump-start itself. Its newest product is a touch-screen microwave oven that, like its phones, appears to be based on Microsoft’s Windows software

Even the White House tried to get in on the action. The White House Twitter account sent out this message Monday morning:

Patience Jonathan approves Goodluck’s new Otukpo wife

President Goodluck Jonathan is currently facing a heavy battle at the Aso Villa and in his home town, Otuoke as his wife, patience Jonathan had learnt that the president is presently having an affair with one Mrs Margaret Adikpo from Otukpo Local government Area of Benue state and has resolved to have her as a second wife. However, contrary to people’s expectation, Patience has declared that nothing was wrong with the decision of her husband.
