The establishment is headed by the Roca brothers: Josep and Jordi Juan. The trio created the creative and personal organization: Joan is the head chef, Josep is the sommelier and takes care of the hall and Jordi is the pastry. The restaurant dethrones Danish Noma who held the number spot for the past 25 years. "I'm freaking out, had expectations, but did not dare to celebrate," said Jordi to the Spanish newspaper El PaÃs even before the official announcement of the prize
