Polls Show Next Nigerian President


A poll released earlier this week by an independent group for Data Analysis shows that 19.8% of Nigerians have a negative perception of the situation in the country. They expressed their dissatisfaction with the current country's direction. The polls show that majority of the government officials: both state and capital are doing worse than they think.

The study reflects various perspectives, including governance, budget management, unemployment, education, healthcare and others. The study evaluates the performance of the state, presidential and federal government since the elections, regardless of political position.
According to the survey, 82.4% of respondents would agree that: "They want Nigeria to go in a different direction."

The data released by name withheld also show that 88.7% Nigerians agree with the statement : "I want Nigeria to go in the direction that is carrying Lagos State governor Babatunde Fashola, Governors: Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State, Sullivan Chime of Enugu state, Goodswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom, Rochas Okorocha of Imo State and Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers state as President"
