12 Years A Slave, the British drama of Steve McQueen slave

Kenyan Lupita Nyong'o played one of the slaves on the plantation of the cruel Edwin Epps (Michael Fassbender) movie 12 Years A Slave. She could be nominated for an Oscar following excellent reviews of the movie during the Toronto Film Festival.

 12 years A Slave, the drama by British director Steve McQueen has triggered emotional responses from the public at the premiere screening on Friday evening due to the representation of brutal torture scenes. The film is already considered by many as contenders for the TIFF audience award. It was based on the memoirs Solomon Northup (played by Chiwetel Ejiofor), a free black man from New York who was kidnapped and enslaved in the mid-nineteenth century for over ten years.
 "12 Years A Slave is a must-see movie of the year, and Should win all the Oscars," wrote the film expert news website "Buzzfeed" excited in his review
