Forbes Africa Person of 2013: Finalist

Forbes Africa Person of 2013

The five finalists for the Forbes Africa Person of The Year 2013 includes three Nigerians. Forbes Africa, the continent’s premier  business publication for the upwardly mobile  African executive  announced the shortlist for the 2013 Person of the Year Awards, due to take place in Nairobi, Kenya at the beginning of December this year.

  1.  South African mining magnate  Patrice Motsepe,
  2.   Nigeria’s Minister of Agriculture ,Akinwunmi Adesina,
  3.  Africa’s richest man ,Aliko Dangote, 
  4.  ECONET founder, Strive Masiyiwa and
  5.   West Africa’s second largest financial service provider, Jim Ovia .

“Every year, we are excited to decide the Forbes Africa Person of the Year. We want to honour the big hitters of the continent who are making a difference in people’s lives and we hope that in doing so, it will inspire others,” commented Chris Bishop, the managing editor of Forbes Africa magazine.
