Nigeria qualifies for 2014 World Cup

Some doubted Nigeria's ability to qualify for World Cup 2014. Nigeria claimed the African's first place in next summer's world cup in Brazil with a 2:0 win of Ethiopia.

First the rain and then the sun in Calabar as Nigeria qualified for Brazil 2014 World cup after a two legged qualifier over Ethiopia. Nigeria, African Cup of Nation winners in 2013 has sealed its place to become the first African country that will participate in the 2014 world cup. For the second time in history, Nigeria travels to the World Cup as African Champions. The last time we did it was 1994.

Is Nigerian Super Eagles back after a 4:1 comfortable win over Ethiopia?

Nigeria has qualified for previous world cup bouts in 1994, 1998, 2002 and 2010. As Spain becomes the first nation to defend its World Cup title in more than 50 years, Nigeria will be there to spoil the party. Come on Naija! We Nor Dey Carry Last!
