Teenager slept for 64 days and missed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year

Kleine Levin or Sleeping Beauty Syndrome. Nicole slept for 64 days missing Thanksgiving, Christmas and New year
Nicole Delien, 17, suffers from a rare sleeping disorder called  Kleine-Levin or Sleeping Beauty Syndrome. The cause of this syndrome is unknown. The Pennsylvania teenager said most recently, she woke up after sleeping for 64 days, from November into January, which made her miss Thanksgiving, Christmas, birthdays and the family's first trip to Disney World.

Her mom, Vicki Delien told KDKA that Nicole sleeps 18 or 19 hours a day, and when she does wake up to eat, she is in a sleepwalking state and doesn’t recall ever doing so.

Nicole says her symptoms began in April 2002, when she was six-and-a-half years old, but wasn't officially diagnosed until years later.
