USA Today reported that the former seven times Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong finally confessed to doping in an interview with Oprah Winfrey on Monday. Unnamed sources familiar with Armstrong's interview with Oprah told US newspapers that he admitted doping during the exchange, which will be broadcast on Thursday.
Oprah Winfrey did not confirm the news about the 41 year old who had been accused of doping for over a decade. However, she tweeted about her two and a half hours interview with Armstrong that "He came READY!"
The interview will be aired on OWN cable network and its website on Thursday night.
