Prison break: 20 inmates escape from Nigeria's prision

Prison break in Nigeria Sagamu Prison

The police are investigating how 20 prisoners jail break Sagamu Prison in Ogun State, Nigeria at dawn on Wednesday.

The escaped prisoners were said to have bore a hole in the prison wall. Zakari Ibrahim, comptroller general of Nigeria Prisons Service confirmed that four inmates were later re-arrested.
"The erring staff will be dismissed and punished accordingly and prosecuted," he said.
