"In politics, if you want something to be talked about, ask a man. If you want something done, ask a woman." Margaret Thatcher in 1983

The Iron Lady, as she was known, was one of the most important women in world history, having ruled between 1979 and 1990 for three consecutive terms. Margaret Baroness Thatcher was one of the dominant figures in British politics in the twentieth century and its 'conservative revolution' led to Thatcherism.

Thatcherism means free market, privatization, less government intervention in the economy and more rigor in dealing with labor unions.
The current British Prime Minister, David Cameron said UK has lost "a great leader and a major British" with the death of the former head of the British Government Margaret Thatcher.

Queen Elizabeth II also reacted saying she was "saddened" by the disappearance of Margaret Thatcher.

"Downing Street can announce that, with the consent of Queen Elizabeth II, Lady Thatcher will have a funeral with full military honors. Ceremonies will take place at the Cathedral of St. Paul," said the cabinet of David Cameron.
