Multiple award winning actor Michael Douglas, 68, said his throat cancer was caused by oral sex. Douglas discovered the disease three years ago.

"Without going into details, this is a very specific cancer caused by human papilloma virus (HPV), which actually comes from oral sex," said the actor.

Douglas the disease had gone uncontrolled after the arrest of his son, Cameron, who is serving 10 years for drug possession and trafficking.

Douglas is set to undergo chemotherapy and radiotherapy sessions.
