In Pictures: Fans File for New Iphones

The New York Apple store drew crowds, with Apple's release of the new iphones. On Friday, customers flocked around apple's regional stores worldwide. 

 According to the web magazine Mashable, about 1,417 people were indeed present at 8 am on Friday morning to acquire iphone 5, an increase of 83% compared to the release of the iPhone 4.
