Nigeria Wins U17 World Cup 3-0

Nigeria won the U17 World Cup for the fourth time in its history. Nigeria's Golden Eaglets rules the soccer world, winning the Under 17 World Cup. It came after an entertaining 3-0 victory over reigning champions Mexico.

Nigeria also picked up the tournament's fair-play award and Dele Alampasu was awarded the Golden Glove for being the best goalkeeper.

Nigeria boast a supreme record at the U17 World Cup championship. Winners in 1985, 1993, 2007, 2013 and runners-up in 1987, 2001, 2009
