Monaco have confirmed that Nigerian defender Elderson Echiejile has joined from Braga.
The 25-year-old played every match for Nigeria as they won the Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa last year. Echiejile joins the big spending french league side from minnows Portuguese league.
Monaco are second in Ligue 1, five points behind leaders Paris St-Germain. The Nigerian will now play alongside Falcao.
Other Nigerians ro have played for Monaco in the past includes Victor Ikpeba, Lukman Haruna, Sani Keita and Rabiu Afolabi.
