Goodluck Jonathan 'PastorBribery' scandal isn't over yet

Goodluck Jonathan 'PastorBribery' scandal

Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan wants us to move on, but not with election bribery probe still looming. The #CANJONATHANBRIBE Scandal is not over yet.  Governor Romiti Amaechi’s earlier revelation that the Presidenc bribed some Nigerian Pastors with N6bn to convince their church members to sway vote for President Goodluck Jonathan is gathering pace.

Pastor Dikwa, who is the executive director of the Voice of Northern Christian Movement, confirmed the allegation, saying that the amount is even higher than what Amaechi said.

In the words of the Pastor: “It was N7 billion that was given to CAN leadership by President Goodluck Jonathan and who later disbursed N3million to the state chairmen of CAN. The money was handed over to CAN leadership on January 26, 2014.

“And some Pentecostal Bishops including Bishop Oyedepo also collected his share. Actually, the money is not N6b, it is N7b. This is what I know. One of the CAN officials from Abuja told me that they have collected the money. The corruption in CAN is terrible.

The presidency on Thursday kept quiet on the allegation by Pastor Kallamu Musa Ali Dikwa that it gave CAN the sum of N7b to campaign for the president ahead of the forthcoming presidential poll.

Efforts to reach presidential spokesman, Reuben Abati, last night to react to this claim could not yield result as his mobile phone did not go through. E-mail and text messages sent to him by Leadership, seeking his reaction, were also not replied as at the time of reporting.

Your Company, employer can now read all SMS from your mobile phones

Your Company, employer can now read all SMS from your mobile phones

This is a decision that will ultimately change the lives of many employees or coworkers. Your company or employers are now legally allowed to read private SMS messages that you send from your professional mobile phone. Your employer may check your SMS by taking your office phone or install software in each device to retrieve messages remotely or check voice calls. And without informing you.

This decision passed in France and currently active by Chamber of the Court of Cassation . The highest court of the judiciary considers the professional notebook as a tool and that the SMS sent or received by this device "are presumed to have a professional character."

"This judgment is in line with decisions taken in recent years , explains Olivier Iteanu, a lawyer in the Court of Appeal of Paris. Gradually case law comes to protect the company over the employee.
February 2015, an employer with a "legitimate reason" can check the SMS by taking the phone from his employee or "place, through tools of Mobile Device Management (Terminal Management Mobile) software that will monitor what happens on the smartphone, to extract the SMS that can be analyzed''

"The SMS can also be stored on central servers, as was the case in the case decided by the Supreme Court.

Severe Weather Alert: 3 year old boy freeze to death

Severe Weather Alert: 3 year old boy freeze to death

A Canadian three year old toddler froze to death Thursday after being left alone in Toronto. After a big search the three-year child was found 300 meters in the vicinity of the apartment where his family was staying.

Camera images showed how the little boy in the early morning left the apartment. He wore only a t-shirt, diaper and winter boots, while the temperature had dropped well below zero.

Hundred officers and a helicopter search led to the discovery site where the toddler was discovered three hundred meters from where he disappeared. He had no sign of life.

Toronto's appalled reaction to the death of the child in these severe weather is that. '' I think that every resident of the city will feel the loss, '' said police chief Bill Blair.

Bride leaves Groom and Marries guest on Wedding Day

Bride leaves Groom and Marries guest on Wedding Day

Groom had seizure and collapsed at the altar and the bride marries a guest from her wedding.

According to The Times of India , the groom - Jugal Kishore, 25 - had not shown to be epileptic to the bride - Indira, 23 - and her family. He fell in front of the guests when he approached her. Is this a legitimate reason to wed a guest at the wedding?

While Kishore was taken to hospital, the bride was furious and decided to change the groom or husband. She asked a man, who was invited to the ceremony and the guest agreed.

The incident occurred in the city of Rampur in Uttar Pradesh state in northern India.

Upon returning from the hospital, Kishore asked Indira to change her mind, arguing that it would be a laughing-stock of friends and relatives back home without the bride, but she refused.

"But given that the bride is now married, what can you do? So families resolved the issue and withdrew the police case," he said.

Illegal Immigrants Could Decide Nigeria Elections

Illegal Immigrants Could Decide Nigeria Elections

Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) have arrested more illegal immigrants in different parts of Nigeria ahead of March general elections. Most of these illegal aliens are from other African countries. Those arrested will be repatriated within 24 hours. However, those immigrants who made it across are still in the thousands and they could decide Nigeria Presidential elections in March.

NIS chairman also warned foreigners in the state to steer clear from voting during the forthcoming elections, stressing that any of them caught would be dealt with according to the law.

"Any foreigner who under false declaration is found in possession of the Permanent Voter Cards or Nigeria national identity card with a view to partaking in the election process shall be severely dealt with in accordance with the law," Isang said.

Super Wedding Game-Identify Your Bride/Groom

Wedding Game-Identify Your Bride/Groom
The groom's eyes are covered with Aso-oke or sometimes with handkerchief, and a couple of people including the chief bridesmaid are made to sit in a row along with the bride. And then the super wedding game is initiated as the groom try to figure out which one is his bride by touching.

If he's unable to identify his bride, he is ordered to pay a fine by the organizer of the event or master of ceremony. This game is one of the favorite super wedding games Nigerians play. Can you identify your bride if you were placed in this position?

Say No to Sex and Support "A meal for Valentine''

Say No to Sex and Support "A meal for Valentine''

Valentine's Day falls on February 14th. Study finds that more than 83 percent of teenagers have sex on the top menu for Valentine's Day. In Thailand for example, Valentine's Day promotes many teenage pregnancies in the country.

'The Moral Promotion Center (MPC), a government agency, launched the campaign "A meal for Valentine ', to generate awareness of teenage pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases on Valentine's Day.

"Our intention is to make teenagers think very carefully and be aware of the complications before they consent to going to bed with their loved ones.'' They'd better go out to eat and then straight home,"

The police appeals to the parents to help the authorities to mitigate this 'risky behavior'.

Thailand has one of the highest rates of teenage pregnancy in the world, with 54 per 1,000 girls between 15 and 19 who give birth to a child every year, and an even greater number that allows an abortion.

Support the ''A meal for Valentine'' campaign and say no to sex.
