Strike Updates: ASUU Considers Options

Strike Updates: ASUU

Pressure is building on ASUU and its entire members over when to re-open universities nationwide. The president led 13-hour meeting to prevent the ongoing ASUU strike is hugely expected to put a quick end to the four month strike. Following the meeting, the later has not materialized. The Universities are still shut down, but deliberations continue on the 2013 ASUU Strike as ASUU and its members consider the option at hand and if possible to make any amendments or counter-offer.

ASUU Strike: deliberations continue (Meeting updates)

As the Academic staff Union of Universities deliberates to find any imperfections or loopholes required to avert another shutdown in the future, they have asked Nigerians on a separate measure to permit them time to completely evaluate the offer and make the best decision for our great country.

ASUU and its delegates will not be threatened, blackmailed or extorted. Patience
