Katy Perry will will perform in next year's grand finale of the American Professional Football League, or Super Bowl, the 49th edition that will take place on 1 February in the University of Phoenix Stadium Arizona, United States.

In her official account on Twitter the singer of "Dark Horse" wrote the message that she "can not wait to February 1"

"The 'show' This year is going to be crazy," anticipates singer, after months of rumors about the identity of the artist who will take over in 2015 from Bruno Mars, who performed brilliantly last year with Red Hot Chili Peppers on stage.

Bruno Mars reached a record 112 million viewers in the US alone and Katy Perry will be looking to exceed that expectation.
