Alex Ferguson, the best coach in British football

Alex Ferguson announce his retirement at the end of the season. Ferguson is the greatest coach in the history of British football. He leaves Manchester United, after more than 25 years of achievements.Since his arrival at Old Trafford in November 1986, Sir Alex Ferguson, 71, has won 37 titles, including 13 English leagues, two Champions Leagues (1999, 2008) amongst others.

The man from Glasgow led generations of exceptional players from the team led by Frenchman Eric Cantona to the current passing through the team led by David Beckham, who won the triple crown in 1999, with league titles, the FA Cup and Champions League.

He is also known by his employers and players as a 'disciplinarian', with the famous scolding, or hair dryer.

But, above all, Ferguson will go down in history as a talented scot and the best coach in British football.
