Nigerian first lady, Patience Jonathan returned home following a mystery illness that kept her in Germany for weeks

Addressing the press, Patience Jonathan denied she had a 'terminal illness or cosmetic surgery'. She flew to Germany for medical treatment in August. Patience Jonathan is the wife of Nigeria's President Goodluck Jonathan, who came to power in 2010 following the death of his predecessor Umaru Yar'Adua before winning the 2011 elections.
