Man is run over by own vehicle

A 55 year old man died after he was run over by his own vehicle. According to information from the Central Police, the accident happened Sunday morning around 7:52 a.m. Evilázio Ribeiro de Jesus noticed a mechanical problem in his own Jeep. He stopped over and went underneath to make repairs. Another vehicle that ran in the same direction of the road hit the back of the Jeep, which rolled over Evilázio.

He succumbed to multiple injuries and died at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle also needed medical attention
